In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Hungary showed notable trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 4.9K in early August. Active users initially saw a decline from 20.3K to 16.5K by mid-July, before rebounding to 22.1K in mid-August, followed by a gradual decrease towards the end of the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a relatively stable download rate, with a notable increase to 2.9K in early August. The active user base was strong, peaking at about 64.8K in late August, before experiencing a slight decline to 50.6K by the end of September.

Freenow by Lyft - taxi & more showed a gradual decline in downloads, starting at 468 and ending at 303. Active users fluctuated slightly but generally remained around 1.3K to 1.5K throughout the quarter.

Oszkar telekocsi downloads started strong at 411 and saw a decrease to 301 by the end of September. This app did not provide data on active users, focusing solely on download trends.

Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery downloads remained stable, ranging from 192 to 264 weekly. Active users showed a slight increase from 6.8K to 7.2K by the end of the quarter, indicating steady engagement.
